Seikimatsu Occult Gakuin – review

Pardon my recent laziness. I’ve been rather busy/unmotivated lately. Anyway onto the review: in short Seikimatsu Occult Gakuin was a fantastic watch that showed a wide range of comedy and drama. Perhaps the biggest flaw I felt was that they spent too much time on Maya’s character, rather than building up other parts and personalities of the series.

Seitokai Yakuindomo – review

Seitokai Yakuindomo was definitely one of the most entertaining and fun series to watch this season. Now some of you may disagree, and so be it, but I personally found SYD a great watch that ended way too prematurely (immature connations intended).

Mmmmm I really can’t wait for the next season to arrive~ Watching Cross Game at the moment and it’s pretty good actually! Also started watching School Days coz a couple of friends recommended it to me for its ending…  Anyhoo today’s demotivator is somewhat GFC-related (I just watched Wall Street I and II). Well THAT was an interesting end to the rather unorthodox second season of Kuroshitsuji. While Kuroshitsuji’s earlier eps reeked of poor filler, what was unravelled later definitely made up for the more mundane parts.

Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakamatachi – review

With the 12th episode, Ookami-san’s run has finally ended and I can gladly say that I’m relieved that that’s that. Though it did have some pretty good moments, Ookami-san was riddled with faults that just let my initial impressions down. That being said, this series did have some sort of entertainment value, just not exactly what I wanted.

Katanagatari – 09

“The first match between the Shinou Issouh school and the blade-yielding Kyotouryuu was incredibly quiet and anti-climatic. Even so, the match was decided.”

Pretty much that sums up the main fight, but that was surely made up for by the rest of the episode, which was packed with a lot of goodies.

Sorry bout the lack of posts. I’ve been pretty occupied lately with work, SCII and anime >_<”  When the new season arrives, rest assured there will be more updates!!!

Seriously cannot wait for Index S2 and Bakuman. I also recently got hooked on the Yozakura Quartet manga. Good stuff there and awesome to know that there’ll be an ova series next month. Also Ironman anime for October 1 and STAR WARS: CLONE WARS S3 OUT IN SEPTEMBER 17.

Though this ova series (?) may not be as downright hilarious as other slice-of-life series such as K-On!(!) and Working!!, Tamayura is a simple yet somewhat charming look at the everyday lives of some unusual highschool students.
