Got enough armour there?

Wow that was a tonne of dialogue-arrhea, which I guess, should have been expected in this series. While Azekura’s characterisation left a little to be desired, we did get a pretty good dose of Shichika-Togame chemistry (or whatever it resembles), and we actually managed to see a Maniwani NOT getting killed.

Phoenix Wrong

The innuendo used in Katanagatari has always been a little troll. I don’t really know what purpose it serves, but it’s a nice and subtle example which sets itself apart from the very clichéd instances we get from your generic rom-com series.

The innuendo here is rather unsettling...

I have to say, the segment where Togame finally realises her “cheerio” mistake was pretty funny, and the accompanying score only made it better. The soundtrack for Katanagatari has been full of interesting tunes, which vary from traditional Japanese songs to the occasional hip-hop segment.

It’s amazing how well-paced this series is. We get developments and character introductions here and there, but there’s enough left unanswered to make this series rather unpredictable. I want M04R!!!1123498one
