Kuroshitsuji II – further impressions

“Day to night, pleasure to pain, waltz to requiem. That itself is the Trancy butler.”

Nothing like having a smoke-o at work.

Hey, we FINALLY got to see Trancy and Faustus again. About time! I was wondering when the more interesting characters were going to get their screentime 😛

Aberline bellows the MORE ROAR

To be honest the past few episodes have been generally mediocre. Episode 2 was a terrible letdown filler episode, and I guess it’s been improving slighly since. This week’s episode should be very interesting with a Faustus vs Sebastian showdown.

Mmmm bbq!

I quite liked episode 4 to be honest, being a homage to Baccano!. It had the usual funny moments, and I was nicely surprised by the confirmation that Arberline’s twin brother was actually Lord Randall’s second-in-charge now.

I swear I was only looking at the bells she was shaking.

What has really been annoying is the return of the more annoying characters. I’m thinking of Greil and Prince Soma. Please. Get out of my face. I don’t want your whining and bitching please.

Proof cats > dogs.

The Trancy side of the story deserves much more attention, seeing that we’ve already had our dose of the Phantomhive household already. There’s a lot more to be explored, such as why maid Hannah endures Trancy’s pretty over-the-top abuse, and the secretes behind the Cantebury triplets. Come on Hirofumi and Mari. Show us what you’re capable of!

Because failure is not acceptable for the hell of a butler, Seb will now demonstrate his expert use of the force.

yea it got better. The start was really quite boring and confusing but now it’s got some momentum.
I do note the more fanservice scenes in each episode.
