“You don’t need to worry about things that don’t concern you.”

You can never have enough of The House of Five Leaves

I think the slow pace is very fitting, and the House of Five Leaves is trodding along very nicely. The character development in this series is fantastic, and each episode leaves me longing for more.

FALSHBAK TIEM!!!!11one

However I think it’s high-time Masa get off his arse and actually do something. We want to see more of this dude in action, not more of his ‘Edo-disease’. We have also yet to see some development in Otake. I’m anticipating much from this sly wench.

OMFG NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111453

I think most viewers have gotten used to the animation work. At first it appears rather lifeless, but the expressions captured are accurate and somewhat more detailed than first meets the eye. There are also some very beautiful stills of the place which add to the atmosphere.

"O crud we're almost half-way! What have I been doing all this time!"

How awesome was Ume this episode? Not only did we get a hold on his past, but we also got a good glimpse of the world that revolves around him. Noone is completely ‘good’, nor is anyone totally ‘bad’. NoitaminA has got a gem up their sleeves this season.

"I've got my eye on you..."

I agree. Masa needs a kick in the ass to get things rolling. The interesting side stories and twists in the plot are starting to fade away to reveal a more pressing issue: is something actually going to happen…

My gut feeling says no. =P

Well, the show still has plenty of episodes to play with – who knows where the show will go?
