I survived an earthquake~

Well apparantly it wasn’t fat people paradropping on my roof that caused the shaking ceiling and walls. It was a small earthquake (Richter scale 3.8) which (never quite) tore the earth asunder and left my pet baby turtle clinging onto her ledge for dear life (she probably slept through it). Personally, I’m kinda annoyed it turned out that it wasn’t the large people playing skip-rope in my imagination.

Anyhoo forgive me for such a post. We generally don’t get tremors down here in Australia, so last night came to as quite the surprise.

Stay tuned for a House of Five Leaves update real soon~

I would have definitely preferred the idea that obese people were base-jumping onto the roof. Unfortunately, this hypothesis was proved wrong. Bugger!

I am legally obliged to say that I did not drop onto your roof last night, nor did i steal any blueprints of any papercrafts you might have had around.

(BTW hi-five for being earthquake survivor buddies; mine was magnitude 4.2 or something I think)
