Durarara!! – 07-08

“I’ll tell you this now. I hate violence.”

"Are you talking to me?!"

Awwww~ ❤

What can I say? If I haven’t already noted before, Durarara!! is the best anime series this season, hands-down. The latest 2 episodes were both excellent and entertaining to watch. Keep up the good work, Takahiro.

Shizzy-chan - what a guy~

Episode 7 gave heart and depth to the person we call ‘Violence, itself’, Shizuo. We learnt of his past, why he wears that butler uniform, and why he’s so goddamn strong. It was an intriguing episode that definitely displayed ‘Shizzy-chan’ in a more positive light.

Errr yeah... isn't a head kinda supposed to be attached to the body?

Episode 8 focussed on generally on the theme of ‘Lost and Found’, and more specifically, Celty and her missing head. This episode demonstrated how well a red herring could be, revealing that it was always the random girl who possesses Celty’s head, not in fact, shady Yagiri Pharmaceuticals. Once again, while the episode did focus on the Irish Dullahan, the other members of the large cast weren’t forgotten. Once again, we got to see our favourite comic duo, Walker and Erika, as well as our ‘leading’ trio, Anri, Masaomi and Mikado.

I see you!

From a slow starting anime series this has now really got my attention. I liked the build up in these eps leading to the twist. How each ep is structured is also great.

mmm it’s not exactly slow-starting. it just takes multiple perspectives from different characters so it looks as if the main overall plot inches closer and closer to the end. it’s got a lot of digression.
