Baka to Test to Shokanju – 06

I understand now that both of you are on a totally different level of intelligence.

Whoa trippy~

It was inevitable that we’d get a fanservice episode from such a series, and this week was our lucky week. It was a pool episode, which had a bit of onsen in it, so you can expect your swimsuits and cleavage.

Every week it’s getting harder and harder to write about Baka. I see most episodes are primarily filler in content, with very little story. Perhaps that’s a good thing for the aimed target audience, but I prefer something with a little more substance. However there were some genuinely funny moments in this episode, and it’s surprising that the heavily laiden in-jokes are still funny to watch and listen to.

Now THIS is retarded.

I don’t know where Baka is heading, but it’s definitely a good thing it’ll end after 12 episodes. We can probably expect a real summoned being battle next week, but who knows. The filler content is still pretty entertaining¬† as long as you don’t expect too much from it. It’s unfortunate that the main characters haven’t shifted from their cliched personalities, but it’s great how the supporting characters such as Voyeur, Shouko and Hideyoshi steal the show.
